Peter Okoye celebrate son's birthday

Cameron-Jayden Chinonso Olufemi

Cameron (son of Peter Okoye -P-Square) celebrated his fourth birthday. Very cute the little Okoye, right?

Cameron with Papa&Mama &Friends
Now that's a real birthday party. A typical African kids birthday party goes like this: Mom and Dad invite their friends, relatives, acquaintances, work colleagues and neighbors. Obtain sufficient food and drink. Then starts a huge party where the adults have fun and kids are playing in between. Yes, that's an real african child's birthday party! That's the way my parents celebrated mine and so many still celebrate :-)
So to come back again to Cameron, his birthday is focused on him and his friends. Thumbs up Peter!

Peter Okoye&JMartins with Birthday Crew

JMartins & Cameron

JMartins also came to congratulate him! I'm a big fan of JMartins. He seems to me as if he had no airs and graces. You hear nothing (bad) about him. I like his songs very much!

It's nice that Peter Okoye has taken time for his son. It has allowed the pregnant mom-Lola Omotayo- to rest!

So I too wish Cameron a very Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela!!!

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela is celebrating his 94th birthday today! He was from 1994 to 1999, the first black president of South Africa. He is next to Martin Luther King as the main representative in the fight against global oppression of blacks as a forerunner of the conciliatory transition from apartheid to an equality-oriented, democratic South Africa. In 1993 he received the Nobel Peace Prize.
He studied law at the Witwatersrand University, was a lawyer and spent 27 years as a political prisoner in jail.
I am glad that such legends are still alive, they should be a role model for all of us. We should fight for what we stand for no matter what!

I wish him a peaceful and a very nice celebration with his loved ones!

Stay blessed Nelson!

Bill Cosby and Rita Dominic celebrate birthday today

Bill Cosby

A true comedy legend has reason to celebrate properly: Bill Cosby is 75 years old.
He is an actor, author, educator and musician. He has even won four Emmys and a number of Grammys. In the hearts of his fans, he has  primarily known as a charming doctor and a perfect father in the sitcom "The Cosby Show." And with that Cosby has also set a political milestone - because the show was the first to show a wealthy African-American family. His fans love Bill Cosby till today. Bill Cosby still performs at sold-out shows!

Rita Dominic
And a true Nollywood Diva has also reason to celebrate: Rita Dominic turns 37 today!
She is a great Nollywood actress, a producer and a African Movie Academic Award (AMAA)  winner for the best actress in a Leading Role in 2012.
Did you know that Rita comes from a royal family? That's what I found on Wikipedia about her:
Rita Dominic is a member of the Royal family of Waturuocha Aborh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. She is the youngest of four siblings. Her late parents were medical practitioners, her father was a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer. Dominic completed her primary and secondary school in Abia State, Nigeria, before heading to the University of port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.

I congratulate Rita Dominic and Bill Cosby! God protects them and gives you many more wonderful years!
