Bill Cosby

A true comedy legend has reason to celebrate properly: Bill Cosby is 75 years old.
He is an actor, author, educator and musician. He has even won four Emmys and a number of Grammys. In the hearts of his fans, he has  primarily known as a charming doctor and a perfect father in the sitcom "The Cosby Show." And with that Cosby has also set a political milestone - because the show was the first to show a wealthy African-American family. His fans love Bill Cosby till today. Bill Cosby still performs at sold-out shows!

Rita Dominic
And a true Nollywood Diva has also reason to celebrate: Rita Dominic turns 37 today!
She is a great Nollywood actress, a producer and a African Movie Academic Award (AMAA)  winner for the best actress in a Leading Role in 2012.
Did you know that Rita comes from a royal family? That's what I found on Wikipedia about her:
Rita Dominic is a member of the Royal family of Waturuocha Aborh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. She is the youngest of four siblings. Her late parents were medical practitioners, her father was a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer. Dominic completed her primary and secondary school in Abia State, Nigeria, before heading to the University of port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.

I congratulate Rita Dominic and Bill Cosby! God protects them and gives you many more wonderful years!

RMD warns Linda Ikeji

Linda Ikeji, the famous Nigerian blogger, congratulated the famous Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo. RMD is today celebrating his 51st Birthday. This is what Linda Ikeji posts about him "... Meanwhile the actor has acquired a palatial home said to be worth over N250 million in Asaba, Delta State, where he is the Commissioner for Arts and Culture" (source). Furthermore, the actor was very angry as he wrote directly to Twitter.
It has been brought to my attention that one Linda Ikeji character who I understand is a gossip has put up a story about my N250m

ordinarily I will never dignify her type with a response but with the calls, texts & bbms I hv received I'd like to sound a warning

to her (Ikeji) to desist from fabricating stories about me & get a life, knowing the worth of a property is not rocket science &
If you find a dignified career path & work hard at it you will be too busy & successful to spread unfounded lies about people

Richard Mofe Damijo

Linda Ikeji

Ouch, that was a direct and painful for Linda Ikeji! The actor appeared today to be very aggressive, because when he read an article on nigeriafilms.com, annoyed him the title "Linda Ikeji RMD Fights? ** Tells Her To Get A Life"
Then he tweeted the following.

oh please do not insult me, how can u say I am fighting Linda Ikeji? Pls be appropriate, there's a diff bw a warning & a fight

Because Linda was a bit too far. I can understand the reaction of very RMD. Nevertheless, despite Linda Ikeji like much, I think that she does entertain many people with her blog. I'm still a big fan of her. I'm sure Linda hasn't written it to make him feel bad.

Movie# The Govenors Gift (HIV)

The Governors Gift is a Nollywood movie, which appeared 2011.  The film deals with the issue of HIV. I must admit that the movie is very long drawn. And the second part was boring too, because a large part of part one was simply repeated again.

The main characters of the movie are, Tonto Dikeh, Jim Iyke and Joy J Bunny.
The film can be seen on irokotv.

Polygamy

If there is a Nollywood actress I really like then Funke Akindele, she was brilliant in Jenifa was funny in the music video of Wizkid "Pakurumo" . She was honored in 2009 as Best Actress in a Leading Role. Why such a successful woman decides to live polygamy? I know that in Africa, polygamy is not only tolerated but sometimes forced. Many families in Africa, suffer from polygamy, siblings are fighting to death, wifes hate each other passionately. I wonder why we stick to such values. Clearly outweigh the disadvantages. One can not give the men alone to blame, because often pushes the own mother that her son must marry another women. A man who is just making ends meet with what he earned, can not afford a second wife! If the second woman also gets children, then it is irresponsible in my opinion! Most children suffer in these circumstances because it will all be held on their backs. They have to starve, the atmosphere is usually aggressive, the Education is poor or not available, parents have no time for their children. There is an ongoing battle between the women competitors, who has the most children, who cooks the best, who provides the best sex, which is the most beautiful woman...

That's why I do not like polygamy! I believe that women like Funke Akindele should be a role model for us women. Are you grew up in a polygamous family, if so what experience you had? What reasons are there for polygamy?
